Deleting your account

Halo Keyboard works with no account at all. If you created or connected
one, you can delete it from inside the app at any time.
In the app
- Open the Halo app.
- Tap the menu, then your account at the top.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
On Android this deletes your Halo account. On iPhone, the account
the app created is a Gossip account, and this deletes that Gossip account
and everything on it.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted immediately: the account, its phone number, name,
email and password hash, every sign-in method (Apple, Google, the link
to Gossip) and every session.
- A Gossip account you only connected (on Android) is a separate
account on another service: deleting Halo removes the link, not the
Gossip account. Delete that from the Gossip app's own
settings.
- Kept: nothing that identifies you. Voice recordings and the
text sent with them are never stored, so there is nothing of them to
delete.
- Never held at all: what you type. It stays on the phone and is
removed when you uninstall the app.
Without the app
Email support@gossipbuzz.app
from the phone number or email on the account and ask for deletion. We
delete it within 30 days.
