Your chats stay on your phone

Halo AI answers with an AI model that runs on your phone. What you type and the answers it writes are never sent to us or to anyone else. They are kept only in the app's memory and are cleared when you start a new chat or close the app.

No account

Halo AI has no sign-in and no account. We do not know who you are.

Downloading a model

The first time you use Halo AI you download a model. The file comes from Hugging Face, who see the request as any web request (your IP address and device type). Nothing you type is attached. After that, the app works with no internet.

Reporting an answer

If you press and hold an answer and choose "Report", your mail app opens a draft to us containing that answer. It is only sent if you send it, and we use it only to look into the report.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no analytics, no tracking across apps or websites.
• We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or microphone.
• We do not sell anything about you — we do not have anything about you.

Deleting your data

Everything Halo AI stores — the downloaded models — is on your phone. Remove a model in Models, or delete the app to remove everything.
